Booking Advice August 2020

Please see below the following categories for updated booking advice during this period of COVID-19. Each category will contain advice on how to engage Lyfestyle for your booking.

Given the environment and differing restrictions, we will attempt to keep updates relative and informative.

We will be implementing new contact forms for booking requests to help streamline our processes as we have reduced staff contact hours.

CATEGORY 1 –  IN-HOME Packages

CATEGORY 3 – LOCAL and INTERSTATE  TRAVEL

HOTEL, RESTAURANT DINING & WINERY Packages

In most states of Australia*, current restrictions for gatherings at hotels and venue dining or vineyards is up to 20 people. Please see at the bottom of the page for links to each state or territories current advice. This generous allowance, will cover all of our group hotel, restaurant dining for 2 and up to 10 people per table and vineyard packages.

*In Victoria, stage 4 lock down restrictions have now been enforced meaning Hotel, Restaurant Dining & Winery packages are currently not able to be booked for at least the next 6 weeks. We welcome booking requests for future dates however these bookings will be subject to restrictions in place at the time.

All bookings will be subject to availability. Please understand each partner will have their own decision to make regarding their availability ,however most are very keen to get back to work and deliver you an outstanding experience.

Currently, we have one supplier in this space, whom have been forced to either shutdown for the foreseeable future, or have had to change their current offerings. This will cause a small delay in offering SAXE Dining packages.  These packages will soon have a newly appointed partner or alternative offering for our customers.

LOCAL and INTERSTATE TRAVEL

Each state of Australia will have differing rules for their borders upon which state’s visitors will be allowed. This will also affect your ability to use airlines and cross state borders by vehicle. Naturally, we cannot book any accommodation unless in-line with restrictions for that state. If restrictions are fine for travel between your home state and that of your accommodation destination*, please submit your booking request by going to our online booking form.

INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL

Our international travel destinations have been some of the most affected by the COVID-19 epidemic, with mass cancellations. At this stage, remarkably, all our properties are still available for our customers to re-book for the 2021 period.

UPDATE 14th July 2020: As of 13 July 2020, Qantas has now ruled out any international flights until past 28th March 2021, so we suggest waiting until 2021 for all our destinations including the South Pacific and Asia.

We encourage you to start making suggested dates for 2021 from November 2020 and we will need a minimum of 60 days notice for any changes.

We understand many of you will not travel until a proven and safe vaccine has been released. If this affects your ability to commit to a date in 2021, please understand there is a likelihood you will need to pay a gap fee if we can extend until 2022. This will also depend on our relationship being in place with the property owner and management.

We are also required to let you know, for any new customer bookings (i.e. not previously booked and postponed), there may be a possibility of a gap fee due to changes in currency rates beyond any regular forecasted buffers.

The alternative will be for you to exchange your package to another destination or type of package/s in the near future. We suggest making these requests prior to end of November with the package to be executed before end of June 2021. We will be able to provide a broad range of options for you to consider as a replacement for your international holiday cancellation. Each package will be married up with a range of options for you to choose.
