CORONAVIRUS TRAVEL UPDATE

This update is intended for all Lyfestyle Experience customers traveling to an international destination.
Firstly, please refer to www.smartraveller.gov.au for regular updates on safety and travel warnings for your destinations.
Dear customer,
Lyfestyle Experiences is understandably receiving a high volume of calls and emails from customers requesting to postpone and in some cases, cancel their 2020 international travel plans.
At this stage were are being guided by updates to www.smartraveller.gov.au and the Travel Agents Federation for advice.
In circumstances where you feel unsafe to travel due to a non-Lyfestyle Experiences issue, you have two options –
- Execute an application for a refund via your Travel Insurance provider – this may only be available if your insurance was taken out prior to January 23, 2020.
- Request to postpone or change your package as far in advance as possible.
It is our advice if you have serious concerns about your travel in 2020, to request a new booking for late 2020 (where available) or for 2021.
General timelines to request a change of date (postpone) or cancellation are tabled below. This is purely a guide and given the changing circumstances our partners are understandably doing their best to accommodate.
Please note, we do not allow refunds for a variety of reasons. However, we can offer alternate replacement package/s if cancelling and not seeking to re-book.
If re-booking, please note there may be small fees due to any changes in property rates and currency fluctuations. However, we are doing our best to negotiate a smooth transition.
In the instance you seek to change your package, this may incur a change fee of $199 due to additional administration and planning. If you want a change outside of our experience range, a fee of up to $599 may be imposed.
In most instances we are hoping to execute a smooth process for customers postponing to the same property, without fee.
All our accommodation partners are in regular contact, and collectively we are seeking to find a suitable outcome for each booking, given these unfortunate circumstances.
